Rising Above Thinking With Ease

To be free of thought, just let go.  Drop the emotional anchors to thinking and wander in the contentment of the higher self.  Your energy rises up toward the higher energy centers as you do this.  You may feel your heart area and energy centers in your head become activated and alive with vibrating energy that pulls you inward and up, leaving the outside world to be the way it is without resistance.  As you release, the world has less of a pull on you and thinking becomes more of a choice rather than a habit.  The amazing part about this is that you do not have to know any complicated or drawn-out meditation practice.


You just consciously release the hold-backs to higher awareness.  These hold-backs are any belief or feeling that keeps you withdrawn and afraid.  As you notice them, you can let them go.

Your energy will naturally rise from thinking into an awareness that is beyond thought.  Then you can concentrate on that to go deeper into it.


Another way is to activate the heart chakra through chocolate consumption and use that as a doorway into the moment.


This is the easiest way I know to experience deep meditation without having had years doing it.


It's so easy but very powerful if you are dedicated to doing it.


1.  Eat dark chocolate


2.  Feel a sense of upliftment within you.


3.  Notice your heart energy/sense of love expanding even slightly.


4. Concentrate on that heart energy and be open to it expanding more and more.


5.  Place your attention on your heart area completely and focus on the love within you.


6.  Allow that love to grow and expand outward.


7.  Realize this sense of love and upliftment is a sense of the true you becoming activated.


8.  Notice your energy centers in your head area becoming more active.


9.  Concentrate deeply on any sense of energy increase in your heart area or above (such as the energy centers in the head area).


10.  Be with that sense of aliveness more than any thinking. You are that aliveness.


As you do this, allow your sense of who you are to become something deeper than (and also beyond) your physical body.

Letting Go Simplified

Letting go is, to me, the most powerful health/self help technology we have access to.  However, it's something we often feel that we can't do.  It seems difficult.  This doesn't have to be case.


Letting go can be easy and fast if you can feel empowered enough to do it.


The easy way to let go of something difficult is to gain emotional leverage over it and then choose to allow the experience to replay in your mind so that you feel it emotionally.  When you can deal with the emotional energy behind the memory and let it run its course , even just for one moment, you can instantly release it and free yourself of it.


The fastest and most effective way to gain massive emotional leverage within seconds is to eat dark chocolate.  Dark chocolate can provide more focusing ability and a sense of upliftment that can be directed toward the painful memory.  It can tip the scales toward letting go just by eating it and then choosing to allow the feeling to be experienced.

The point of all of this, though, is that letting go is very powerful and you can let go as long as you  feel willing to deal with the feeling that the issue brings up.  Emotional leverage (feeling elevated over the emotional issue so that you're looking down rather than up at it) is the key to letting go of things that you feel are too difficult to overcome.  Dark chocolate is an easy emotional leverage fix.

Letting Go Can Be Easy

If letting go seems difficult, there are powerful ways to accelerate the process.  This is a big interest of mine.  Letting go itself (by allowing etc.) is amazing, but what about when you encounter roadblocks to your progress? Some feelings are difficult to embrace and we may be stuck without even realizing that we are resisting them.  This is why I wrote The Chocolate Emotional Detox.  Through my practice of letting go techniques I've found certain strategies to move past emotional barriers more quickly.  Rather than stay stuck, you can rise above and move forward immediately.  And, this may involve a favorite drink or food of yours.  You can move toward enlightenment and enjoy the process at the same time.


By letting go of emotional issues, you automatically become freer inside and open up inherent meditation abilities.  It is the most empowering process I know of.

The key is noticing the feelings that you feel about a particular issue and locate where you feel then in your body.


Then just notice the feeling as it is without resisting and relax into the feeling rather than push it away. Instead of trying to change the feeling in any way, embrace it fully.  Follow the feeling and watch it transform through acceptance.


If you have difficulty doing this, you may want to try having a little dark chocolate (of good quality).  This can open you up to the feeling even more, which, along with the intention to allow, can lead you to letting go.

How To Get In A Really Good Mood

1. Define and clarify empowering and passion driven projects that have come to your awareness.. Get started in some small but enthusiastic way.

2.  Eat a food which radically shifts your mindset toward creativity and action.  This can be dark chocolate or even coffee for certain people.  Goji berries might work for others.  Dark chocolate, coupled with the intention to be passionate and creative can be incredibly transforming.  Chaga extract or Cordyceps extract might also work wonderfully.  Three Brothers (a liquid extract) or Three Sisters are two other POTENT options to consider.

3.  Breathe deeply and let your mind sail off.. Leaving your awareness resting in the wind.  Be as one with your current experience.

4. Point your mind in a truly creative direction that simultaneously notices the stillness and beauty of this moment as well as insights generated from deep within for you to look into and weave together to form a powerful idea (project, solution, book idea, side business idea, song lyrics etc.)

5.  Hold into or carry an empowering crystal or gemstone.  These can really generate feelings of inspiration, higher awareness, and wellbeing.

Coffee As A Spirit Elevating Substance

While I don't regularly drink coffee, my more recent times drinking it has shown me that it can be used as an accelerator for spiritual connectedness and creative insights.

It can connect you to the moment in a powerful way.. It seems to turn the headlights on of consciousness.. Allowing focus to be directed inward.

Coffee can momentarily get you in "the zone" where you are naturally more in the moment.  When there, it can be easier to notice the love that always was.. As long as you attune your mind to it.  Coffee may amplify the signal of awareness but it is up to you how you use that experience.

Nutritionist David Wolfe does have some great insights about how to more effectively use coffee.. With an anti-stimulant herb or sea salt.  These can help to lessen the effect of coffee on the adrenals and promote a more balanced effect.  Reishi Mushroom and He Shou Wu are two such herbs.  You can get these in our online store.

Still, coffee is not for everyone. When I have it, it is usually in an out of the blue fashion and I am interested in the effect it has.. Knowing it may have a vitality sapping effect in the long term.

Meditate To Elevate

Meditation happens naturally when we stop trying to impose our thoughts on the moment.  Our beliefs can shield us from experiencing the calm energy of NOW.  To get beyond them in order to experience the AMAZEMENT of your soul and beyond you just need to LET GO of the feelings behind the beliefs and thoughts.

This practice instantly moves you into a higher state.. Toward effortless meditation.

You develop a more focused, yet adaptable mindset.

This CARRIES you into DEEP meditation.  The type that leaves you feeling as if you transcended your own form.

You can access these states of power just by letting go.  It really is that easy.  The key is actually letting go of the feelings that are keeping down.  Pretending that you let something go just keeps it suppressed.

The more you let go, the more you are free.

When you clear enough of the clutter, you'll be able to consciously connect to that higher state without having to let go to get there.  Continuous letting go will definitely bring you further and further but you can also choose to focus on your sense of spirit within and be drawn up into a "high state".  Increasing will power can help with this quality of direct focus.

Work Stronger Not Harder

Have you found yourself unable to complete a task that you've set out to do?  What can you do in that situation?  In my experience, there are 3 main options: 

1. Distract yourself with something more pleasurable.

2. Try to work harder and use more effort.

3. Strategically work "stronger" by letting your motivation rise, which will radically increase your power and output without a sense of depletion due to overwork.

I choose the third choice because it more allows you to tap into your true potential. Trying to push yourself up a mountain, especially a boring mountain that tires you out from the start, can be very unsatisfying to the spirit.  That's not to say, though, that you shouldn't do things you don't initially love doing such as work tasks etc. but that you can upgrade your experience and creative output, allowing the experience to seem more effortless.

When we're in the flow, work is less work and more of a harmonious series of actions.  You don't have to be bound by the monotonous aspect of the task, pulling you into feelings of boredom and low energy.  You can choose to rise higher and feel a good about it.

Here's how:

Think of something that instantly draws your attention to a higher energy state. This is especially powerful if it's something you want to attain and you feel inspired about. Then add in a potent superfood or herb that you feel works well with you well on an energetic level.  This can help to amplify those feelings of enthusiasm so that you can sustain them for longer periods of time.  Many of them naturally encourage subtle increases in feel-good neurotransmitters that allow us to access creative states of mind more easily.  This can PROPEL you into a state of utter flow.... Where the moment appears to be more of a clean slate and opportunities seem to be in view.  From there, just the notion of a sense of possible progress toward your creative envision can be enough to fuel your work day as long as you remember to actively keep your vibe up and direct that energy toward your task.

How To Meditate With Less Effort

Meditation is an incredible experience.  Not only can it ease you of stress by connecting you to the moment, but it can transform your entire experience as you notice your true inner connection to life.  There are many ways to practice this, luckily, and each will probably be better suited to different people.  If you'd like to experience a natural state of intense meditation fairly quickly, however, and you are not yet adept at the practice of meditation, I'll share with you some of my favorite and most powerful ways I know.  Without having to practice meditation for long periods of time, you can re awaken your natural state of deep connection.  All it takes is letting go and then noticing your inner state blossoming into something higher.  From there, while you are in that natural state of contentment, meditation is just a choice or a point of focus.

The Sedona Method is a technique that I highly recommend for learning how to let go.  Still, the following ideas can help you with this and promote the ability to meditate.

If you can just notice the stress that is keeping you from experiencing contentment in this moment, you can choose to allow it to release by reversing your resistance toward it.  By fully feeling it and letting it be there for the moment instead of trying to push it away, you can allow it to move up and out.  The result, often, is a feeling of contentment and relief.  You might notice a sense of something higher in yourself.  If you can tune into or connect with that, you will naturally be in a meditative state that is essentially free of thoughts.  From there, you can deepen that by noticing any sense of energy flow within you and a greater inner connection to the world around you.

I'd also suggest considering taking any tonic herb that you feel suits you.  These, especially Reishi Mushroom, are well known to promote inner contentment and the awakening of spirituality.  You can find these products at our online store which offers fast, inexpensive shipping on all orders.

Additionally, as noted in other articles, cacao can be very helpful for generating a state of mind conducive to letting go and meditation.  While high quality raw cacao is usually the best option, dark chocolate can also do wonders.  Its love imparting qualities can often promote the ability to surrender to the moment and leave you with a lasting understanding of being in the The Now.  For some though, chocolate might not be the right option and a green smoothie or green juice might fit your nutritional needs better and help you to enter a state of relaxation.  Find what works for you.  Again, though, these foods and herbs are aids that can help point you in the direction of meditation.  They are not necessary for everyone and meditation is essentially connecting with your deeper awareness, which goes well beyond what you eat.  Still, diet can play a role in allowing you to more easily access states of being conducive to meditation.

Letting go is a profound way to experience greater levels of well being.  Here are 5 ways that it can increase the quality of your life:

1. Increased energy - letting go naturally releases the energy that is often kept in place by our inner blocks.  When we let go, this energy become available to us and naturally circulates, creating an increase in vitality.

2. Increased clarity - letting go allows us to remove the inner obstacles to higher knowing and understanding.

Becoming Who You Want To Be

Becoming who you truly want to be is one of the most satisfying things you can do.  So when you are in need of a little hope or motivation, picture the most empowering vision you can set for yourself and realize that it is attainable with persistence and letting go.  As those into intention manifestation know, there is power to our goals and creativity.  Focusing on what we want to be and where we want to go, with pure enthusiasm and a sense of aliveness and creativity, can seem to draw out our untapped resources to attain our goal.  The inspiration generated from even a moment of the belief in the possibility of receiving our intention can set a new directions for us.  Inspiration is the fuel that propels us into "the flow", where creativity and innovation exist in abundance.  When you feel more flowing, you'll likely notice more ideas to bring your desire into reality.

Furthering this idea, you can get more connected to the moment by letting go of your attachments and aversions to the goal.  This is something featured in The Sedona Method and can allow you to release the inner blocks to feeling ready to act on or receive your goals and desires.  You can also release any doubt that you notice about your ability to have or be whatever your goal is.
